Est. $25,000-$27,500 Karl Faberge 20th C. Russian Silver, Citrine, Nephrite, & Natural Stone Polychrome Mouse on Bicycle Sculpture *Thought to be a One of a Kind, Gift For Nobility* W/KF Mark & Russian Silver Standard - This amazing piece was made by workmasters of Faberge after the revolution, between 1918 and 1923. The subject is a cute, innocent mouse that is riding on a bicycle, with a chunk of cheese in his basket. This is an extremely well made Polychrome piece, made almost entirely of rare, natural stone, and judging by the quality of the work you can tell it was made by Faberge's best workmasters. The bicycle is made of Russian Silver, with tires made of nephrite, and a seat made of tiger's eye. The mouse is made of brown agate with citrine eyes, shoes made of nephrite, hat made of jasper, and a silver tail. The cheese is made of citrine and the balloon is made of blue quartz. This is thought to be a one of a kind, gift for Russian Nobility. The piece measures 5.1"H x 4.75"W (approximately). The piece bears the "KF" (Karl Faberge) in Crylic, and "84", the Russian silver standard. This is an absolutely incredible, investment piece, and you will never see one like it again.
