Est. $6,000-$8,000 Vintage Custom Made Austrian Wooden "Book" Lighted Mini Bar W/Marbled Lacquer Details, Gilt Brass Hardware, & Maria Theresa Thaler Coin Handle (Comes W/Drawer Full of Bar Books, Recipes, Etc.) - This stunning piece was completely custom made, of wood with brass hardware. The bar is in the form of two books, one standing on the top of another. The piece was finished with marbled lacquer details, and the hardware is finished with a gold gilt detailing. There is also gold gilt details throughout the piece, as well as a scene of Austrian baroque architecture on the front of the piece. The bar is lighted, and when the door is opened and closed the light turns on and off. The inside of the bar is finished with mirrors and glass shelves. The handle on the front of the drawer is made from a Maria Theresa Thaler Coin (Maria Theresa was an Austrian archduchess, Holy Roman Empress of the Habsburg Dynasty from 1740 to 1780, and the mother of Marie Antoinette). The inside of the drawer is filled with bar books, recipes, etc. On top of the bar is a removable glass and brass tray. The piece measures 48"H x 23"W x 14.25"D, and is in excellent, working condition.
