Est. $7,000-$7,500 Exceptional French Art Nouveau Emile Galle Cameo Glass Stick Type Vase W/Bulbous Bottom *Impressive & Rare Size* - This stunning piece was made by one of the major forces in the Art Nouveau movement, Emile Galle. In his early work Galle used clear glass decorated with enamel, but he soon turned to an original style, featuring heavy, opaque glass carved or etched with plant motifs, often in two or more colors as cameo glass. This piece is decorated from the base with amber leaves and pods, against a frosted background. This unique piece has a long, slender neck with a bulbous bottom, and is an impressive, and very rare size for these pieces. The piece measures 19.25"H x 7.5"W (approximately), and is in excellent condition.
