Est. $4,000-$4,500 Rare Vintage Beardslee Chicago Art Deco Polychrome Cast Aluminum & Milk Glass Chandelier - This rare fixture by Beardslee Chicago was produced by one of Chicago's premium lighting suppliers in the 1930's. Besides its design and beauty, what makes this particular fixture so rare is the shade. It is so very fragile that few have survived over the years. This piece in this spectacular condition, with no cracks or chips. This unique shade looks as if there are 5 shades ringing the fixture, as with most all other fixtures of this type, but in fact the entire shade is a single piece of thin and delicate glass. The shade shows off a flawless stencil technique with rich ochre and browns over a glossy milk glass. This fixture is made of cast aluminum and has a beautiful, multi-level relief deco pattern and original polychrome finish. The piece is signed "Beardslee Chicago" in several places on the fixture and ceiling canopy. Measures 32"L x 16"W (approximately).
