Est. $35,000-$1,000,000 Gift From Empress Dowager Doan Huy - Qing Dynasty Pure Gold, Nephrite, Kingfisher Feather and Ivory Table Screen on Ornate Gilt Gold Wooden Base (With Provenance) - A decorative screen on finely carved wooden stand, with a cinnabar lacquer and gilt gold finish. This piece features a carved landscape scene with leisure pursuits of scholars with attendants, ivory faces and selected ivory panels. The piece also features trees that are made of pure gold and have nephrite leaves. The most amazing part of the piece are the kingfisher feather embellishments. This piece is encased in glass, and is of the highest quality. This particular piece was a gift from Empress Dowager Doan Huy. Measures: 44"H x 40.5"W x 15"D.
