Est. $3,450-$3,625 1800's French "Avance Retard" SOLID 18K Yellow Gold Pocket Watch W/Repousse Case-ULTRA RARE *STUNNING*. This lovely timepiece features a SOLID 18K yellow gold case, a genuine Avance Retard movement and a lovely display of repousse definition on the case. On the back cover of the movement there is an inscription that reads "Echappement a Ancre Trois Levees et DIX trous en pierre" which translates to "Exhaust has three anchor levees and ten holes in stone". The case has a serial number of: 183380. The watch is not working, but is a truely amazing find, as we have never seen a watch like this, and don't know of any available on the market today. Piece measures: 1.5" in diameter. (Weighs: 47.4 Grams) Estimated value: $3450-$3625
